Claude Code

Claude Code is Anthropic's terminal AI coding assistant. It understands your codebase, edits across files and runs commands, compressing hours of workflow into a single command.

Prerequisites

• Claude Code installed (npm install -g @anthropic-ai/claude-code, or see the official install docs)
• Base URL: https://api.tokenhub.belivestudios.com
• API Key: create one in "API Tokens" on the BeLive Studio Console
• Model name: e.g. claude-fable-5, exactly matching a model ID in the console model list

Set Environment Variables

macOS / Linux

Append to ~/.zshrc (or ~/.bashrc):

export ANTHROPIC_BASE_URL="https://api.tokenhub.belivestudios.com"
export ANTHROPIC_AUTH_TOKEN="sk-your-belive-studios-key"
# optional: default model
export ANTHROPIC_MODEL="claude-fable-5"

Then run source ~/.zshrc.

Start Using

Use /model to view or switch models; use /status to confirm the current endpoint and auth state.

FAQ

Still hitting the official API after setting variables? Make sure you reopened the terminal (or ran source) and verify with echo $ANTHROPIC_BASE_URL.

401 / 403 errors? Check the API key is complete (starts with sk-, no extra spaces) and that the token has permission for the selected model.

model not found? The model name must exactly match an ID in the BeLive Studio console model list — mind case and suffixes.
