Copilot CLI

GitHub Copilot CLI is GitHub's terminal AI assistant. Its BYOK (Bring Your Own Key) mode allows custom OpenAI-compatible endpoints, so requests can be routed to BeLive Studio.

Prerequisites

• Copilot CLI installed and signed in with GitHub
• Base URL: https://api.tokenhub.belivestudios.com
• API Key: create one in "API Tokens" on the BeLive Studio Console
• Model name: exactly matching a model ID in the console model list

Setup

1. Start copilot
2. Type /model to open model management, choose to add a custom model (BYOK)
3. Select "OpenAI Compatible" as the provider type
4. Fill in:
   • Base URL: https://api.tokenhub.belivestudios.com
   • API Key: your BeLive Studio API key
   • Model: a model ID (e.g. gpt-5.6-sol)
5. Save and select the custom model via /model

No option to add a custom model? BYOK is rolling out gradually across Copilot CLI versions — upgrade to the latest version first; some accounts/regions may not have it yet.
