CodeBuddy

CodeBuddy (WorkBuddy) is an AI agent and coding assistant that manages available models through a local JSON config file. Using the OpenAI-compatible Chat Completions API, it connects to BeLive Studio seamlessly.

Prerequisites

• CodeBuddy / WorkBuddy installed
• Base URL: https://api.tokenhub.belivestudios.com
• API Key: create one in "API Tokens" on the BeLive Studio Console
• Model name: exactly matching a model ID in the console model list

Edit the Model Config

Find CodeBuddy's local model config JSON (usually in the user directory) and add an BeLive Studio model:

Save, restart CodeBuddy, and select the model in the model picker.

FAQ

Model not showing in the list? Check the JSON syntax and that id exactly matches the BeLive Studio model ID.

Tool calls not working? Make sure supportsToolCall is true and the model itself supports function calling.
