FluentRead - Open-source Translation Extension

FluentRead is an open-source browser translation extension offering bilingual view, selection translation and full-page translation for a native-like reading experience.

Prerequisites

• FluentRead extension installed in your browser
• Base URL: https://api.tokenhub.belivestudios.com
• API Key: create one in "API Tokens" on the BeLive Studio Console
• Model name: e.g. gpt-5.6-sol or gemini-3.7-flash, exactly matching a model ID in the console model list

Setup

1. Open the FluentRead extension settings
2. In "Translation Service", choose "Custom OpenAI-compatible API"
3. Fill in:
   • Endpoint: https://api.tokenhub.belivestudios.com/v1/chat/completions
   • API Key: your BeLive Studio API key
   • Model: a model ID (e.g. gpt-5.6-sol)
4. Save, then select text on any page or click the floating ball to translate

FAQ

No translation result or timeouts? Make sure the endpoint is complete up to /v1/chat/completions and the key is valid.

Translation quality/speed not ideal? Low-latency models are recommended for translation; tune concurrency and segmentation in settings for long pages.
